Ms. Arlanda Berry

October 1, 1957 ~ August 7, 2018 (age 60) 60 Years Old

ANTELOPE, CA- Ms. Arlanda Berry was born October 1, 1957, in Jackson MS to the late Auldrane and Elizabeth Berry. She departed her life on August 7, 2018 in the presence of family. She will be greatly missed by all. Arlanda accepted the Lord and was a Christian. To know Arlanda was to love Arlanda. She was a family-oriented person. Even though she was the second of seven daughters, Arlanda lovingly took the role of being the eldest sibling and the Family Communicator. She nourished her family and people around her with love. She communicated and expressed this love in so many ways to all through conversations, telephone calls, text messages, letters or simply with a smile and a hug. She enjoyed sponsoring family dinners, but she loved her southern food restaurant and home-grown watermelon.

She was a proud graduate of Murrah High School. After graduating high school, Arlanda furthered her education by attending college. After college, she accepted job positions in Nebraska and Los Angeles. Since 2004, Arlanda worked as a Ag Inspector for USDA. She loved her job and her work family.
