Mrs. Mildred Louise (Hobson) Gates

HOULKA- Mrs. Mildred Louise Hobson-Gates, 70, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at her home in Houlka. She was born on February 10, 1949 to the late Willie Tab Hobson and Ray Baker.

Services will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 1:30p.m. at Jackson Chapel M.B. Church on 103 Evers Drive in Bruce, MS 38915. Burial will take place at Thompson Chapel Church Cemetery (East County Line) in Houlka. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her mother: Ray Mildred Hobson of Houlka. Two sons: Steve (Kris) Farr of Fortson, GA and Kerrela Farr of Shannon, MS. One daughter: Cheryl Lynn (Sharron) Hooper of Bruce, MS. Two brothers: Curtis (Afonda) Hobson of Houston, MS and Glen (Marine) Turner of Houston, MS. Two sisters: Carolyn Fay Hobson of Houlka and Joyce (Ervie Lee) Johnson of Pontotoc, MS. Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 4-6p.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.
