Mrs. Liller Jane (Williams) Hall

March 15, 1947 ~ November 9, 2018 (age 71) 71 Years Old

Mrs. Liller Jane Williams-Hall was born in Mt. Pleasant, Mississippi on March 15, 1947 to the late James Lawrence Sr. and Carrie Minnie Lumpkin-Williams.

She departed this earthly life on Friday, November 9, 2018 at her home in Desoto Texas. At the time of her transition she was a member of Loving Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, in Desoto, Texas.

In Nineteen Sixty Seven, Liller graduated from Sand Flat High School, in Mt. Pleasant, Mississippi. Knowing that Education was essential, she applied and was accepted to Rust College, in Holly Springs, Mississippi where in Nineteen Seventy One she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education. Later that year she moved to Dallas, Texas to accept a Loss Prevention position with Howard Wolf, Inc. About one year later, Liller was recruited and hired by Republic National Bank. In Nineteen Eighty two, Liller was certified with the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission as a Juvenile Probation Officer where she excelled. During her years of dedicated service, Liller accomplished much and received many Certifications and Accolades.

In January, Nineteen Ninety, Liller decided that she wanted to become an entrepreneur and was certified by the Texas Department of Human Services, to become Owner/Operator of Children’s Corner Academy, in Terrell, Texas; where she managed a staff of Personnel and Teachers to shape the minds of our Future Leaders. After her work was done there, she decided to follow in her Mothers footsteps, and accepted a position with Region 10 Education Service Center, in Richardson, Texas as their Head Start Parent involvement Director. After the untimely passing of her Mother in two Thousand Three, Liller moved back to Mississippi, and accepted a position with Shelby County Head Start, as Facilities Director. While employed with Shelby County, Liller enrolled into The University of Memphis where she received her Master of Arts Degree in Teaching Instruction and Curriculum Leadership.
In Twenty Fourteen, Liller retired from The Shelby County Head Start.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11a.m. at Pleasant Hill C.M.E. Church in Mt. Pleasant, MS. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

Liller is preceded in death by her parents, James and Carrie Williams. Brother, Jessie James Williams.

Liller is survived by her loving husband of Forty Three years, Charlie Hall.  Son- Brandon Charles Hall (Berneshecia). Grandson, Christopher Charles Hall, all of Desoto Texas.  Three Sisters; Martha Williams of Dallas, Texas; Mary Henderson, of Mt. Pleasant, Mississippi; Linda F. Williams (Tim), of Lewisville, Texas. Four Brothers- James L. Williams Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Mississippi; John L. Williams (Debra); Reverend Bruce L. Williams (Doris) both of Memphis Tennessee and James Calvin Williams of Garland, Texas. She also leaves a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10a.m. until time of services.
