Mrs. Bertha Melinda (Strode) Meaders

West Point, MS formerly of Fulton, MS- Mrs. Bertha Melinda Strode-Meaders, 49, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS. She was born on March 7, 1965 to Jimmy Strode and Ruthie (Watkins) Gates.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 1p.m. at St. Matthew M.B. Church in Fulton, MS. Burial will take place at Shiloh C.M.E. Church Cemetery in Fulton. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrngements.

She leaves to cherish her father: Jimmy Strode and her mother: Ruthie Gates of Fulton, MS. Her husband: Kenneth Meaders of Amory, MS. Two sons: Demarcus Strode of Tupelo, MS and Larcho Strode of Fulton, MS. One daughter: Tamisha Strode of Canton, MS. Two sisters: Debra Jones of Batesville, MS and Joyce Howell of Fulton, MS. One grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 one hour prior to service time.
