Mr. Robert J. Sanderson

Ripley, MS formerly of Memphis, TN- Mr. Robert J. Sanderson, 73, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Resthaven Health & Rehab in Ripley. Mr. Robert James Sanderson was born January 6, 1945 to the late Lymon and Ismar Echols Sanderson in St. Louis, MO.

He accepted Christ Jesus at an early age and made him Lord of his life. He joined Pentecostal Temple COGIC under the leadership of Bishop J.O. Patterson, Sr., and for furthering of the gospel, under the leadership of Bishop Charles H. Mason Patterson, Sr. in Memphis, TN.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his son: Robert Sanderson, Jr. and his daughter: Betty Wilson both of Memphis, TN, two brothers, his identical twin brother: Earnest Sanderson of Holly Springs, MS and Bill Sanderson of IL, he also leaves six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Services will be on Friday August 17, 2018 12:00 Noon at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ 229 Danny Thomas Blvd Memphis, TN with Bishop C.H. Mason Patterson, Sr., delivering the eulogy. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Holly Springs. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 3:00 - 6:00 at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs.
