Mr. Eddie B. Christion

POTTS CAMP- Mr. Eddie B. Christion, 75, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his home in Potts Camp. He was born on May 22, 1943 to in Duckhill, MS to the late Mose Eddie Mays and Evar Bell Christion Miers. Eddie accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. He later joined Baptist Hill M.B. Church in Potts Camp, MS, where he remained an active member until. He served on the Usher Board. He was also a founding member of Christionaries of Memphis, TN. On May 27, 1989 he married Daisy Williams. Eddie was employed by Empire Express of Memphis, from which he retired. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. In the words of his children "he was a good man."

 Services will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 11a.m. at Baptist Hill M.B. Church in Potts Camp with Pastor Lacy Scott delivering the eulogy. Burial will take in the church cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife: Daisy Christion. Four daughters: Sharon (Markelon) Brown of Potts Camp, MS, Kara (Benjamin) Bridgewater of Memphis, TN, Adrienne (Dexter) Christion of Memphis, TN and Andrea Christion of Memphis, TN. Three sons: Chris (Anetria) Christion of Potts Camp, MS, Roger (Mary) Williams of Memphis, TN and Greg Christion of Memphis, TN. Two brothers: George (Carolyn) Miers of Potts Camp, MS and John D. (Casandra) Miers of Grenada, MS. One sister: Mary (Larry) Brown of Grenada, MS. Two god-daughters: Tamekia (Kevin) Jeffries of Waterford, MS and Monique Martin of Memphis, TN. Twenty-two grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, five god-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 4-7p.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.
