Mr. Darrell "Punkin" Kirk

PONTOTOC- Mr. Darrell "Punkin" Kirk, 45, He was born in Pontotoc, MS on December 8, 1972 to  Ullay Kirk and the late Charles McAllister. He attended Pontotoc High School. He was a former employee of the Pontotoc Pallet Company for several years. Before becoming disabled in 2015, He loved farming. Darrell enjoyed fixing cars, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends. On April 15, 2018, the Lord released him from this life and gave him a peaceful rest in his arms.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1p.m. at College Hill C.M.E. Church in Pontotoc. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

To lovingly remember and to cherish his memories are his mother: Ullay Kirk of Pontotoc, MS, one daughter: Jasmine Miller and one grandson both of Shannon, MS, four sisters: Sandra (Glenn) Isbell of Pontotoc, MS, Jennifer (Robert) Pruitt also of Pontotoc, MS, Rudy Washington of Nettleton, MS, Judy Carol Isby of Okolona, MS, Cathy Powell of Verona, MS,  brothers: James (Komega) Kirk, Charles (Loretta) McAllister, Jr., Gary Kirk, Marcus Kirk, Travis Kirk, Stacey Kirk, Jeffery Kirk all of Pontotoc, MS, Larry (Betty) McAllister of Houlka, MS, Anthony Gordon of Pontotoc, MS, Stephen McAllister of Clarksville, Arkansas, and Steve McAllister of Tupelo, MS, four uncles, two aunts, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father: Charles McAllister, Sr., maternal grandparents: Russell and Suddie Kirk, paternal grandparents: Bozzie and Mary Beckley, one brother: Oscar Ray.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 3-7p.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc.
