Mother Iola E. Tucker

LAMAR- Mother Iola E. Tucker, 81, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2018 at her home in Lamar, MS. She was born on November 11, 1936 in Michigan City, MS to the late George Walker Bats and Betty Harris.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11a.m. at Sand Hill M.B. Church in Lamar, MS with Pastor Darryl Mays delivering the eulogy. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories two sons: Larry C. Tucker and Trent L. Tucker of Lamar, MS. Two daughters: Isa D. Faulk of Radcliff, KY and Brenda J. Linsey of Memphis, TN. Three sisters: Edna M. Rucker of Collierville, TN, Lucille Gordon of Michigan City, MS and Betty L. Paige of Lamar, MS. Nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 4-7p.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.

Body will lie in state 2 hours prior to service time on Saturday.
