Missionary Annie Elaine (Topp) Ward

August 12, 1949 ~ December 24, 2018 (age 69) 69 Years Old

TUPELO- Missionary Annie Elaine Topp-Ward, 69, passed away on Monday,December 24, 2018 at Oxford Health & Rehab. She was born on August 12, 1949 in Pontotoc County to the late Audie Topp, Jr., and Geneva Reed.

Annie spent her adolescent years in the countryside of Pontotoc County. She attended and graduated from Pontotoc Attendance Center in 1970 with classmates who would remain lifelong friends. Annie has always been a direct person with a big, loving heart. She had a natural sense of humor. When people got to know her, they could not help but to love her. Exel Ward certainly was captivated by her and the two were joined in matrimony on December 25, 1974.

Annie gave her life to Christ around 1977 and became a member of Faith Revival Center. Shortly afterwards, Exel and Annie branched out into God’s ministry and started Faith Deliverance Temple Apostolic Church. Annie served as the Founding First Lady and Head Missionary of Faith Deliverance faithly. She worked with the Ushers on the Usher board. For a few years, she was also employed by the Pontotoc City School System. She truly was a woman of many hats.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2p.m. at Faith Deliverence Temple Apostolic Church on 100 Vaughn Road in Belden, MS 38826 with Elder Willie Gardner-Pastor and Bishop Herbert Mitchell delivering the eulogy.
