Joshua Lee Swan

MYRTLE- Joshua Lee "Swan" Swan, 18, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 (automobile accident) at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He was born on October 28, 1999 in New Albany to Stacey Swan and Crystal Swan. He was a Senior at Myrtle High School, where he played on the school's basketball team #21. He was a faithful member at Faith Assembly of God in Myrtle, where he was a member of the Praise Team. He was also employed at Reed's Market in New Albany.
Services will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2p.m. at Faith Assembly of God on 1579 CR 51 in Myrtle, MS with Pastor Tom Wiginton delivering the eulogy. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his parents: Stacey and Crystal Swan of Myrtle. One brother: Christopher Swan of Myrtle. One sister: Desiree (J.R.) Yeager of Myrtle. One nephew: C.J. Yeager. His grandparents: Larry (Rachel May) of Dumas, MS. His grandmother: Linda Swan of New Albany, MS. His grandfather: Jimmy Swan of Wynne, AR. His loving great-grandparents: Jack (Henrietta) Corbit of Baldknob, AR. He will be dearly missed by his Senior Class and fellow friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 4-7p.m. at Myrtle High School Gymnasium.
