Mrs Hazzie Jenkins Dye Owens was born March 15, 1929 to the late Effie Henry and Rev. Arnette Jenkins in Pontotoc County, MS.

She transitioned on Spetember 23, 2019 at her home in Memphis, TN.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories one son Rev. James (Orber) Dye of Rienzi, MS, two daughters; Phyllis Dye of Southaven, MS, Myrial (Jerry) Dotson of Memphis, TN, one brother Roy Jenkins of New Albany, MS, five sisters; Willie Mae Scales of Racine, WI, Eula Williams of Chicago, IL, Lillie Starks, Linda Taylor, and H. Diane Jenkins all of Racine, WI, five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
