Deborah Saulsberry Allison, 61, daughter of the late Connie B. Saulsberry and Louise Polk Saulsberry was born August 15, 1955 in Byhalia, MS. She attended the public schools of Marshall County and was a graduate of Christian Brothers University. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she dedicated her life to Christ.
She was united in holy matrimony to James Allison on January 12, 1974. This union was blessed with two children: Angela Marie Allison and James Allison, Jr., along with two step-sons: Martin Luther Saulsberry and Connie Bernard Saulsberry.
As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by her children: Martin Saulsberry and Connie B. Saulsberry both of Byhalia, MS, Angela Allison of Memphis, TN, James Allison, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, her mother: Louise Polk Saulsberry of Byhalia, MS, eighteen grandchildren, one great grandchild; brothers: Wade (Jackie) Saulsberry and Sammy Saulsberry both of Byhalia, MS, sisters: Linda (Ollie) Harrison of Memphis, TN, Katie Williams of Byhalia, MS. Connie(Steve) Muhammad of Atlanta, GA, a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Larry Saulsberry of Byhalia, MS, and a sister: Sonia Saulsberry of Chicago, IL.
