Bobby Page Pinson

Bobby Page Pinson was born on February 22, 1958 to the late Essie and Allen Pinson.

Bobby accepted Christ early in life and joined St. Paul Baptist Church. He attended North Pontotoc and was a graduate of the class of 1977. He played various sports, but his passion was for basketball.

Shortly after graduation he joined the army (stationed in New Orleans) and became a military police for 8 years. Then joined the highway patrol for a year. He then moved to Raleigh North Carolina where he was employed by Raleigh Central Prison for 23 plus years, he was a Sergeant and later became a Lieutenant. During this time he also worked part time for the local post office and managed a janitorial service. Later when he returned home, he worked for Tupelo Police Departmentt until his health begin to fail.

He departed his life to be with his heavenly Father on June 29, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

He leaves to cherish his memories two children Steven S. Finley of New Albany, MS and Lakinna S. Pegues of Pontotoc, MS, one sister Violet Boles and one brother Ronnie Pinson both of Pontotoc ,MS, one aunt Earline Roberson(Herman) of Pontotoc, MS,  eight grandchildren; Oceana Finley, Rytavious Isby, Ayilah Isby, Steven Finley Jr. (Steven), Desrae Finley, Jabrin Pegues,Tyeus Pegues, Jatyia Jones(Lakinna) and a host of nieces and nephews and family and friends.
