Terry Wayne Clark

Mr. Terry Wayne Clark, 59, of Holly Springs, MS, transitioned on Friday, April 19, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Terry Wayne Clark was born on January 5, 1965, to the late Elmo Clark, Sr. and Mary L. Newson Clark in Desoto County, MS. On Friday April 19, 2024, he transitioned at his residence. Terry accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Mt. Olive M.B. Church in Byhalia, MS.

Terry attended Byhalia High School in Byhalia, MS.  He was apart of the Masonic Lodge (Williams 44). He enjoyed fishing, cooking, being around his family and friends; especially his grandchildren. Terry loved to laugh and wasn’t a stranger to anyone.

Terry leaves to cherish his loving memories: wife: Janfur Clark of Holly Springs, MS; one daughter: Terri J. Clark of Holly Springs, MS; four brothers: Elmo Clark, Jr. (Debra) of Ripley, MS, Monroe Clark, Sr., Cleven Clark, and Jeffery Clark, Sr. (Vickie) all of Byhalia, MS; three sisters: Mary Stanback of Byhalia, MS, Cora Collins, and Beverly Higginbottom (Marcus) both of Holly Springs, MS; two grandchildren: Kyland Clark and Ellie Dean both of Holly Springs, MS; a special uncle Lavern Newsom of Byhalia, MS, uncle: Clarence Newson, Sr. of Memphis, TN; two aunts: JoAnna Jeffries and Peggy Hinton both of Chicago, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Elmo Clark, Sr. and Mary L. Newson Clark; and one sister:  Shelia Clark.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635

Services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Olive M.B. Church, 1612 Wall Hill Road, Byhalia, MS  38611

Burial will take place at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Byhalia, MS  38611
