Curtis Lee Taylor "Boone"

Mr. Curtis Lee Taylor “Boone” , 71, of Byhalia, MS, transitioned on Monday, February 12, 2024, at this residence.

Mr.  Curtis Lee Taylor was born on December 2, 1952, to the late Robert Taylor and Dorothy Ingram Taylor in Byhalia, MS.

He was employed at American Plastic Toys in Byhalia, MS; he attended Henry High School, and he was an auto mechanic, who enjoyed working on cars. He enjoyed being around his family and friends, had a big heart and was good to everyone he met.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons: Kelvin Malone (Ashley) of Southaven, MS and Dedrick Bronson, Sr. (Elissa) of Byhalia, MS;  one daughter: Sharonda Shipp (Tony) of Byhalia, MS; two brothers: Alex Taylor (Helen) and Morgan Taylor both of Byhalia, MS; two sisters: Bonnie Dodson of Olive Branch, MS and Glinnie Glass of Red Banks, MS; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a special friend Beverly Warren of Byhalia, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert Taylor and Dorothy Taylor; one brother:  Robert Taylor, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024,10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon,  at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 North Memphis Street, Holly Springs, MS 38635

Interment will be at Taylor Chapel Cemetery, Victoria, MS
